Job summary

Sylvan Learning Center in Riverside is seeking enthusiastic, flexible part-time tutors to teach students in study skills, reading, math, and SAT/ACT prep. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree or teaching certificate, or are college juniors/seniors pursuing Math or Education, and can work with children of all ages.

We are looking for 2–4 days per week, afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. No lesson planning, grading, or parent meetings required; join a dedicated team that loves helping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or teaching certificate required, or a college junior/senior working toward degree in Math or Education.
• Ability to work with kids of all ages.
• Strong multitasking ability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in pre-K through 12th grade in: Study Skills, Reading, Math, and SAT/ACT Prep.
• Commit to two to four days per week, afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.
• No lesson planning, grading, or parent meetings required.
• Be a flexible, enthusiastic team player who loves working with kids.
