Job summary

C2 Education in Plano, Texas seeks a part-time instructor to deliver high-quality tutoring after school, following our curriculum and educational philosophy. You will foster a positive learning environment, assess progress, and communicate with parents while maintaining records.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, at least two years of teaching experience, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners. Hours are Monday–Thursday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Experience developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned and schedule-specific tasks.
