Job summary

Madison College is seeking a part-time Tutor to support students at the Watertown and Fort Atkinson campuses in Wisconsin. You will tutor, mentor, and develop supplemental learning resources to promote student success.

As a Tutor you will identify learning challenges, apply effective tutoring strategies, help students strengthen study skills, and collaborate with faculty to align support with curriculum needs across two campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional work experience.
• Preferred Health Science or Nursing background.

Responsibilities

• Enhance student independent learning by identifying challenges and creating study plans.
• Develop supplemental learning activities, workshops, and resources for improvement.
• Expand tutoring reach across campuses by outreach and faculty collaboration.
• Strengthen student success by guiding learners to study plans and resources.
• Mentor and train peer tutors and staff to foster a collaborative support network.
