Job summary

ServingSchools in Saco, ME, seeks a Part-Time Tutor/Ed Tech to support students with disabilities three days per week. You will implement curriculum aligned with IEP goals, document daily progress, and provide needed accommodations to help students exercise choice and control in their environment.

Collaborate with the educational team to ensure consistent treatment approaches, maintain professional records, and participate in developing and implementing IEPs.

Quality Standards Include The Following

• Provides implementation of curriculum related to IEP goals
• Maintain accurate up-to-date daily progress notes and additional comments and reports in a timely manner.
• Provide supports and accommodations as dictated by a student's Individualized Education Plan.
• Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure consistency and integrity in treatment approaches
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and treatment/support strategies.
• Participate in the development & implementation of the Individual Education Plan.
• Conduct all activities and interactions in a professional, caring manner.
• Work in a cooperative and collaborative manner as a team member.

Compensation

Based on experience, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
