Job summary

Colorado Periodontal Group in Denver/Thornton is seeking a Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant for a part-time role (3 days/week: Wednesday-Friday). You will assist our periodontists at two clinics in Denver and Thornton, with a competitive hourly rate and bonus opportunities.

Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45am-4pm, Fridays 7:45am-2pm or 3pm. Mileage reimbursement available within 20 miles and benefits include vision insurance and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant or relevant experience in any specialty
• Reliable transportation to travel between clinics
• X-ray certification required
• CPR or BLS certification required
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist the Periodontist with procedures using four-handed dentistry
• Review and update patient health history
• Sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
• Set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for each operatory
• Provide post-operative care instructions

In this role, you will be assisting our periodontists at two general dentistry clinics located in Denver and Thornton.

We work with two fantastic periodontists that are easy to work with and believe in coaching and developing their teams. This is a great opportunity to gain some hands on surgical experience and delve into the fascinating world of periodontics!

Our idealPeriodontal Dental Assistantwill have2 or more years of experienceassisting in a perio, endo, or oral surgery specific role. However, we are open to training recent dental assistant graduates or assistants from other areas of dentistry as long as you are reliable, passionate and eager to learn. If this sounds like you,

Overview

Schedule:Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45am-4pm, Fridays 7:45am-2pm or 3pm

Compensation:$23-$26hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance.

Mileage reimbursement: Available if locations are outside of a 20 mile radius, reimbursed using national average.

USD $23.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities:
