Job description

Join to apply for the Part-time Travel Advisor-Camp Hill role at AAA Central Penn.

This position is based out of the Giant store located in Camp Hill at 3301 E Trindle Rd.

Schedule:

  • Week One: Wednesday 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Thursday 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, Sunday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Week Two: Wednesday 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Thursday 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, Sunday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm

The Travel Advisor is responsible for selling, arranging, and facilitating travel arrangements for AAA Members, including domestic and international travel, reservations, and related services. The role involves providing exceptional service to ensure total satisfaction and meeting sales goals.

Essential Functions include:

  • Advising and selling travel packages, reservations, and related services.
  • Using reservation systems and software to make bookings.
  • Arranging accommodations, transportation, and travel documents.
  • Achieving sales targets and providing travel advice.
  • Participating in training and promotional events.
  • Handling basic office tasks and potentially escorting group trips after training.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and geography.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and reservation systems.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outside normal hours and manage multiple tasks.
