Job summary

CJR is seeking a Boys Development Facilitator in Winchester, CT. This part-time position offers $19.50 per hour and a 20-hour work week, supporting up to four teens in a trauma-informed group home setting.

You will lead activities, mentor youth, and help develop life skills while ensuring safety and well-being. Responsibilities include coordinating daily routines, transportation, reporting, and participating in ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with court-involved, at-risk, or similar youth populations.
• Valid driver’s license to utilize a company-provided vehicle during work hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in recreational and prosocial activities.
• Assist with daily routines and maintaining a clean, organized home environment.
• Provide care for up to four youth in a trauma-informed setting.
• Provide transportation for youth and families using a company vehicle.
• Ensure safety, conduct headcounts and bed checks, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Plan, lead, and facilitate organized daily activities and therapeutic groups.
