MercyFirst in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a part-time Transportation Worker, LTFC to support client transportation for refugee services under the supervision of the Program Manager.
You will Safely transport clients and families, uphold the agency’s mission, and maintain accurate attendance and documentation. A High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license with clean driving record are required; prior experience with children is a plus. ORR immunization requirements apply.

Under the supervision of the assigned Program Manager, the Transportation Worker, LTFC provides transportation for our clients in whatever capacity is necessary. Shifts assigned may vary and change according to Agency needs.
The office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) requires all candidates and employees to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route if working directly with children, including Varicella, MMK (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) DTaP or DTap, and Influenza. All employment at MercyFirst under the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is contingent upon successfully completing all onboarding and background check requirements in addition to completing ORR’s suitability process.
$20/hour
Hiring Incentive - $500 after 500 worked hours.
