Job summary

Keystone Blind Association in Mercer County, PA is seeking a part-time staff member to join our community-serving team. The role involves transporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired to appointments, events, and activities, and providing support with dignity and respect.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA driver’s license, the ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements, and can pass required background clearances. Basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for operating agency vehicles.
• Ability to pass required background clearances and certifications.
• Knowledge of Mercer County and surrounding areas; basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals who are blind or visually impaired to medical appointments, grocery stores, agency events, and other destinations.
• Work comfortably and compassionately with adults and children with disabilities.
• Assist with transportation needs throughout Mercer County and surrounding areas, with occasional trips to Pittsburgh.
