Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no suspensions, DUI, or more than 1 citation in the past 5 years.
• Ability to operate van and passenger bus, wheelchair lift; electronic devices and other equipment.
• Must pass and maintain a DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to work effectively with customers including elderly or disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation with excellent customer service.
• Operate steering, braking and control components of buses and vans.
• Transport passengers up to 100 miles from Fairfield County, OH.
• Communicate with scheduler to determine pickup/drop-off locations.
• Assist passengers entering/exiting vehicles and with packages as needed.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report vehicle condition.
• Collect fares and maintain driver manifests daily.
• Attend safety meetings and follow laws, policies, and procedures.
