City of Pullman's Transit team is hiring a part-time Transit Extraboard Driver to keep our community moving with safe, reliable transportation and exceptional customer service. You’ll drive fixed-route buses or assist as a transit ambassador, with paid training and CDL earning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience with the safe operation of passenger vehicles in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license (Class B with passenger endorsement).
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a passenger bus or paratransit van on designated routes and schedules.
• Provide courteous customer service and information to riders.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and note any defects.
• Assist with ADA stops, fare collection, and reporting of incidents or hazards.
