Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in California is seeking a Part-Time Tire Technician to join a fast-paced, team-focused shop. This role offers flexible scheduling, hands-on automotive work, and opportunities to grow into mechanic or service roles.

You will mount/balance tires, perform oil changes, test batteries, and help with TPMS, with training provided. A reliable, safety-minded, and physically capable candidate is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive tires, lube, or related service preferred but not required.
• Customer-focused with reliability and team orientation.
• Good attention to safety and ability to work in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Test and replace batteries.
• Inspect vehicles and document findings.
• Assist with TPMS sensor service.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support teammates in delivering fast, accurate customer service.
• Learn brake, alignment, and suspension work over time.

What You'll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Automotive, tire, or lube experience preferred but not required
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Weekend availability preferred
