Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time, 25-hour-per-week position in an Iowa store to maintain merchandise presentation and operate the sales area. Qualifications

• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep shelves and clothing racks full and organized to promote sales.
• Assist management to price items as needed.
• Process merchandise efficiently following standards.
• Stock racks, shelves and counters daily to promote sales.
• Learn and train on the processing system, including cash register usage.
• Maintain a clean store environment (shelves, counters, tables).
• Wrap and bag merchandise for customers when needed.
• Provide good customer service: polite, prompt and courteous.
