Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Livonia, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will process and price donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals while serving donors and customers.

Responsibilities include tagging merchandise, tracking production, moving items to the sales floor, and maintaining clean work areas. Flexible evenings/weekends are required; prior retail or thrift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
