Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Novi, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, price, and prep donated goods while helping meet daily production goals. You will assist with inventory tracking, assist customers, and move processed merchandise to the sales floor in a team-driven environment.

Paid training is provided and you should be reliable with good attendance, basic math and computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
