Job summary

The Salvation Army Columbia Thrift Store in Columbia, MO is seeking a part-time Thrift Store Worker (20 hours/week). You will assist customers, sort and price donated items, and operate the cash register to ensure accurate transactions. You may transport items to and from vehicles as needed.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience, with potential for additional duties and daily deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year related work experience preferred.
• Able to operate cash register/POS to process transactions and make correct change.
• Communicate with customers and work effectively with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Engage and assist customers with purchasing needs.
• Sort, price and display donated items for the sales floor.
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles as directed.
