Position Purpose

Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions and mental health treatment services to patients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field.
• Licensed in Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
• Knowledge of clinical work with Safety Sensitive Occupations and the demands of high pressure jobs, including First Responders, Union/Labor/Trade, and Union Member Assistance Programs/Employee Assistance Programs.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records required.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames
• Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling
• Ability to work within a team

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed by and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilitiesassigned.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or familymembers.
• Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within required time frame.
• Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs.
• Educate client and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding healthissues and steps to recovery.
• Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
• Ensure that documentation in client service record is maintained consistent with expectations definedby licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements.
• Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, case management and discharge plans).
• Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
• Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
• Serve as a member of the Clinical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
• Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.

Schedule

PT- 16 hours a week

• Hours:Flexible times: Monday- Friday between 8:00am- 8:00pm. Also open to Saturday's 9:00am-1:00pm
