Established private practice optometry office in Arlington, Texas. Our patient's eye health and wellbeing are a priority.

Role Description

The ideal candidate is caring and committed to exceptional patient care. We perform comprehensive ocular health exams, provide corrective lens and CL exams, and medical eye diagnosis and treatment. We also work closely with Ophthalmologists in the area to co-manage cataract and Lasik and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Must have an active Texas OD license. Initially looking to fill 1-2 or possibly 3 days of coverage. One of those days must be Friday. Other days are flexible with your needs and availability. The office is closed on the weekends. We are excited to begin to offer our patients in office Dry Eye treatment and aesthetic services with InMode Forma I and a variety of skin and lid benefits with MD Elite PRO. Interest in learning and providing these services is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Clinical skills in Therapeutic Optometry and ocular disease management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in fitting and prescribing corrective lenses
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Active Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and state licensure in TX OGS preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, relevant laws and regulations in Optometry
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills with problem-solving skills
  • Experience with EMR systems and able to maintain accurate medical records. Able to handle sensitive patient information securely.
