Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field with substantial professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level.
• Ability and experience to teach Theatre History I, Theatre History II, or Stagecraft.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course(s).
• Effective planning and preparation of lectures, discussions, and activities to support student success.
• Use Xavier’s campus-wide academic program, Canvas, to provide course information and maintain an electronic record of students’ progress.
• Work cooperatively with members of the department.
