Our Retail Centers are open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sundays.

Part Time employees in our Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty and bereavement leave. JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate I, Textiles Production primarily works in a production environment sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging donated textiles, following company quality standards to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor. The Associate may occasionally interact with customers and is expected to provide excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality.
  • Inspect textiles for good saleable condition (buttons, zippers, etc.).
  • Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare textile items for sale by loading them on Z-racks.
  • Decide on pricing according to Goodwill standards, researching value online or using company tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers; answer product questions as needed.
  • Follow all retail policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Crosstrain in other departments when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area for safety and efficiency.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • One (1) year of retail experience preferred.

Other:

  • Attention to detail and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to use basic technologies and research online for value assessment.
  • Ability to operate a dolly and pallet jack.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Effective communication skills.
