Job summary

La Quinta Resort & Club is seeking a part-time PBI Tennis Professional to deliver the highest quality tennis instruction and customer service to members and guests. The role involves teaching junior and adult programs, private and group lessons, and creating a compelling tennis experience.

Responsibilities include racquet stringing, supervising play, charging fees, enforcing rules, and ensuring safe, etiquette-rich play. HS diploma and USTA NetGeneration certification are required.

Qualifications

• USTA NetGeneration Certification is required as a condition of employment.
• Minimum 2-year experience teaching tennis to adults and juniors.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with members and guests.
• Ability to read and follow club rules, safety procedures, and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Teach junior and adult tennis programs, lessons, clinics, and events.
• Provide beginning through advanced instruction for all levels and ages.
• Develop safe, professional tennis lessons and programs to encourage ongoing participation.
• Assist in supervising play and accurately charging fees.
• Ensure players understand rules, scoring, safety, and etiquette.
• Enforce club rules and supervise equipment and facilities.
• Perform racquet stringing.
• Respond to member/guest questions in a professional, tactful manner.
• Maintain safe work practices and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
