Job summary

United States Tennis Association-Pacific Northwest Section is seeking an Assistant Tennis Pro for part-time hours at Mint Valley Tennis Center in Longview, WA. The role focuses on providing high-quality tennis instruction, promoting programs, and growing membership while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include recording lessons, assisting with tournaments, and adhering to facility rules. CPR/AED preferred and PTR/RSPA certification is a plus for applicants.

Qualifications

• Proven and progressive experience in leading and teaching tennis.
• Proven experience working with juniors and adults of all abilities in a tennis facility setting.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with staff, members, non-members and guests.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• CPR and AED certified preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide and lead tennis instruction related to techniques and strategies for members, non-members and guests.
• Ensure courteous, prompt and professional attention to all tennis needs.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings as required.
• Maintain an accurate record of all lessons and clinics.
• Promote programs, tournaments and events and work to grow memberships.
• Assist with tournaments as needed and enforce facility rules.
