Job summary

Ustapnw is seeking a part-time Assistant Tennis Pro for the Mint Valley Tennis Center in Longview, Washington. This role involves leading tennis instruction and maintaining a high level of customer service for members and guests.

The ideal candidate will preferably hold RSPA or PTR certification and have proven experience in teaching tennis. Responsibilities include promoting programs, maintaining records, and ensuring facility standards are met.

This position offers hourly pay ranging from $18 to $35 per hour based on experience and commission.

Qualifications

• Must have RSPA or PTR certification.
• Experience in leading and teaching tennis required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide tennis instruction to enhance member participation.
• Ensure professional attention to all tennis needs.
• Attend staff training and management meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons and clinics.
• Promote programs, tournaments, and events.
• Assist with tournaments as needed.

Skills

RSPA or PTR certified professional preferred

Proven experience in leading and teaching tennis

Experience with juniors and adults in a tennis facility

Ability to build relationships

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

CPR and AED certified preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office
