This position involves efficiently processing customer transactions while providing excellent service and identifying suitable bank products and services. Tellers should be proactive, friendly, and courteous.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and creating a welcoming environment
• Building relationships to identify financial needs and recommend products
• Developing customer loyalty through exceptional service
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and following internal controls
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues positively

This role requires participation in paid training and passing the Teller Certification test to operate a Teller drawer. Training occurs within the first 3 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Required Skills:

• At least 6 months of cash handling or banking experience, or experience in retail sales or service
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and achieve goals
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to procedures
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and computer skills, including 10-key proficiency
• Outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic personality

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of banking products and procedures
• Successful sales experience in retail or banking
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements: Standing or sitting for long periods, typing, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Shift differentials for certain evening and Saturday hours; weekend availability required.
