Job summary

Security Financial Bank in Durand, WI is seeking a part-time Teller to support daily banking needs for customers in our community branch. The role offers 20-29 hours weekly with daytime shifts published in advance, focusing on accuracy, friendly service, and professionalism at the teller line and drive-up.

You will handle deposits and withdrawals, verify identifications, balance cash drawers, and assist customers with questions while maintaining confidentiality and following bank procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Knowledge of bank products and regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions
• Verifying checks, endorsements, and proper identification
• Balancing your cash drawer daily and assisting with branch balancing tasks
• Answering customer inquiries in person and by phone, while maintaining confidentiality
• Referring customers to other SFB team members for specialized services
• Supporting branch operations and ensuring compliance with regulations
