Wintrust Financial Corporation is hiring a Full-Time Teller in Chicago to process cash transactions, balance drawer, and assist customers in-person and at the drive-up. You will identify cross-sell opportunities and support bank operations.

The role requires a minimum 6 months in cash handling or customer service, a high school diploma, and flexibility for shift work including Saturdays. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is expected.

What you’ll do:

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions.
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.

• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events.

• High school degree or GED required

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.00-$21.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
