Job summary

LOC Credit Union’s Howell Branch is hiring a part-time Teller to help members reach their financial goals through accurate processing of transactions and friendly service. You will support daily branch operations and learn LOC products and policies to assist customers effectively.

The role emphasizes selling opportunities, strong communication, and dependable weekend availability, with competitive wages and fringe benefits. GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • Previous experience in credit union or bank cash handling preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of LOC products, services, platforms, policies and procedures to maximize cross-sell opportunities and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide exceptional and friendly service to every member.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Answer members' questions and resolve any issues with a positive attitude.
  • Be willing to work at least one Saturday per month and travel to other branches occasionally.
