The role involves balancing cash, handling money orders, and completing required forms. You will work under supervision and adhere to security procedures and branch protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience to handle member interactions effectively.
• Cash handling and balancing skills.
• Experience identifying opportunities to offer additional services to members.
• Ability to process deposits, withdrawals and transfers accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sell/cross-sell services based on member needs to meet goals.
• Process and qualify deposit items, withdrawals and transfers.
• Process loan payments and assess related service charges/fees.
• Research outages to maintain an 80% balancing ratio.
• Complete forms for Western Unions, bank wires, CTRs and SARs and forward to the proper departments.
• Handle Shared Branching transactions per Credit Union Service Center protocol.
• Follow security procedures for branch openings/closings and cash desk controls.
• Assist with dual control as needed.
• Provide money orders, teller checks, credit card cash advances and payments.
• Process loan advances from various credit products.
• Open/close terminals and account for cash handled.
