Job summary

Listerhill Credit Union in Tennessee is seeking a teller to provide accurate cash handling and member service at the Columbia branch. You will process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and maintain records with our core processor while upholding security and accuracy.

Responsibilities include promoting credit union products, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring excellent member experiences. A high school diploma and one year of office or teller experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of general office or teller experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must pass a teller test.
• May need mobile device access to log into the network.
• Must complete LCU assessments.

Responsibilities

• Receive deposits and cash into accounts and enter into core processor.
• Cash share drafts and process withdrawals; disburse funds with verification.
• Promote credit union services (loans, IRAs, certificates, safe deposit boxes, money orders).
• Receive payments and generate member receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure teller station is stocked with forms and supplies.
• Report malfunctions of teller terminals and equipment.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies.
