Job summary

Central Pacific Bank in Lihue, HI is seeking a part-time Teller (30 hours/week) to provide exceptional customer service while processing routine transactions and greeting customers.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and currency counting with accuracy, maintain records per policy, and contribute to branch goals. A high school diploma and cash-handling experience are required; prior teller or financial institution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service.
• 1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service.
• 1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides an Exceptional Customer Experience.
• Delivers personalized customer service and consistently look for ways to “WOW” customers.
• Tackles a variety of financial transactions ranging from check cashing & cash deposits to loan payments to counting currency and coin accurately.
• Maintains accurate records of each customer in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Answers customer questions with a can-do attitude, no matter how complex or technical.
• Complies with all security procedures and bank regulations that apply to your position.
• Maintains working knowledge of our policies and procedures that apply to your position.
• Safeguards assigned, branch and customer cash according to Security Procedures.
