Job summary

Andover State Bank is seeking a Part-Time Teller I/II to join our team. You will provide friendly service, accurately process transactions, and help customers with account inquiries.

This role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with policies, and promoting ASB products to strengthen relationships. Availability is 4–5 hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays with rotating Saturdays; occasional shifts at our Wichita location.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated sales and cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, use tact and diplomacy; maintain professional dress and demeanor.
• Ability to use considerable judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations.
• All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, and change orders accurately.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, limits, and banking regulations.
• Assist customers in person and via phone with account inquiries, online/mobile banking issues, and general questions.
• Promote and refer ASB products and services to strengthen customer relationships.
• Complete regulatory reporting (OFAC, CTR) and account closing checklists promptly.
• Represent ASB positively and adhere to core values and policies.
