Alliance Bank is your locally-owned community bank serving the populations in Cape Girardeau, Oran, Sikeston, Jackson, and New Madrid, Missouri. We take great pride in being involved in the communities we serve and offering the best service and products to our customers.

Currently we are hiring a Part Time Teller at our Cape Girardeau Branch. Working as a teller in this branch allows you time to enjoy meeting our many customers and servicing their banking requests. Besides providing the basic cash transactions, you will record loan payments, process the sale of various bank instruments, and assist customers with their banking questions. This position requires flexibility toward schedule changes and Saturday hours.

Essential Functions

• Processes customer transactions including deposits, loan payments, checking/savings withdrawals and cashing checks in accordance with bank procedures.
• Counts and prepares currency, coins, and checks for shipment to the Federal Reserve Bank.
• Balances personal cash drawer daily.
• Responds to customers’ needs in various ways while cross-selling bank products and services
• Assist in opening and closing the branch, following established security procedures.
• Counting, filling, balancing, auditing, and ordering monies for the cash vault, ATM, and TCD.
• Answering incoming telephone calls as needed.
• Comply with all departmental and company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Maintain regular, punctual, and physical attendance.
• Complete other specified duties as assigned.
