The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Teller for our Philadelphia, MS location. The position offers 20-24 hours per week, including some Saturday hours.

Provide excellent service to bank clients by conducting appropriate transactions. Meet client needs through a hands-on approach to service, and facilitate referrals to other departments when necessary.

Essential Duties

1. Conduct appropriate teller transactions, including deposits and disbursements of cash, coins, and checks from checking and savings accounts.
2. Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
3. Accept loan payments.
4. Answer client questions regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories, while complying with federal disclosure requirements.
5. Issue money orders and cashier’s checks.
6. Count and roll loose coins.
7. Identify counterfeit currency.
8. Provide excellent service at all points of contact with clients.
9. Cover all Philadelphia area branches.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

The Right Person

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a teller or in a cash handling position.
• Previous work experience in an office environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in general math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
