Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union seeks a branch associate to welcome members, deliver friendly service, and promote financial well-being. You will meet branch goals through respectful engagement and cross-selling, while handling routine inquiries, processing transactions, and safeguarding assets.

Strong communication and math skills are essential. At the Kenosha-Green Bay Road location, you’ll work part-time hours, emphasizing accuracy, policy adherence, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (or in progress with end date).
• At least 1 year of public/customer interaction experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to balance cash and maintain records accurately.

Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being. Responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members. Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and fosters branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Availability to work 25 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am - 5:45pm and Saturdays 8:45am - 1:15pm at our Kenosha-Green Bay Road branch location; non-exempt.

In addition:

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).
• One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
• One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
• Good decision-making skills and judgement.
• Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.
• A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
• Maintains awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follows internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
• Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $19.75 per hour. In addition, we offer:
