Cerula Care is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to deliver direct psychiatric care to adults via telehealth. You will manage a personal panel, conduct evaluations, and adjust medications over time in a flexible, part-time contractor role.

Requirements include a Virginia PMHNP-BC license with prescriptive authority, autonomous practice designation, and completion of credentialing for payer enrollment.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia APRN PMHNP-BC license with prescriptive authority.
• Autonomous practice designation (3 years/4,500 hours full-time).
• Virginia PMP registration and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment readiness.
• ANCC PMHNP-BC board certification.
• Master's or Doctoral PMHNP degree from an accredited program.
• Minimum three years of independent prescribing for adults.
• Willingness to credential with payers and contract plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations via telehealth for adults.
• Provide ongoing medication management for your panel.
• Prescribe/manage psychotropic meds with oncology interactions.
• Assess/monitor clinical risk, safety planning, and escalation.
• Refer to higher level care when needed; coordinate with oncologists/PCP.
• Maintain timely HIPAA-compliant documentation in clinical systems.
