Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Fairbanks, AK is hireing Tire Technicians to join a fast-paced team. You will interact with customers and drivers, service tires, and help keep our shop clean and safe. No experience? No problem—we’ll teach you and train you on DOT requirements and equipment.

This role offers flexible scheduling, company-paid tuition assistance, 401(k) match, and medical/dental/vision coverage after 30 days, plus opportunities for career development and advancement.

Qualifications

• No prior tire service experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
