Job summary

CyberTeck Academy in Dayton is seeking an enthusiastic part-time teacher for after-school and summer programs. No experience required; paid training and curricula are provided. Classes meet once a week and run 6–8 weeks, with a minimum of two days per week availability.

Teach technology classes at schools in VA/MD/DC and be prepared to transport company laptops and equipment. Start in Aug 2026 with training beforehand; on-site shifts in multiple counties.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video and/or computer games.
• Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well independently.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• Experience with basic programming or Minecraft/Lego Robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up on time because we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
