Job summary

CyberTeck Academy is seeking a part-time, onsite teacher for after-school and summer camp programs across multiple locations in the DC/MD/VA region. No prior experience required; paid training and curricula are provided. Classes meet weekly and last 2.5–5 hours per shift, with a minimum of two days per week.

Candidates must have a vehicle to transport laptops and equipment. Shifts vary by location, with afternoon hours typically starting after school and some Saturday options.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy teaching children aged 5–14.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must pass a criminal and sex offender background check.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up on time; we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8–12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
