Job summary

Sylvan Learning Center in Monroe, WA is seeking a Part-time Teacher for K-12 English and Math to inspire students and foster a love of learning in a supportive environment. You will deliver instruction, assess progress, and use Sylvan curriculum to support personalized learning plans.

Collaborating with staff, you will participate in training, maintain a positive classroom, and accommodate evenings and weekend hours to fit family schedules while helping students build confidence and achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Teaching certification or relevant K-12 experience.
• Strong understanding of English and Math curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
• Support students in building confidence and academic skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
