Job description

Part Time Tax Intern

Remote Colorado or Remote Texas

Hourly Compensation: $23/hour DOE

The Part Time Tax Intern role will support the Tax Department staff with the preparation of indirect tax returns. The part time position will work 25-30 hours per week during normal business hours, from February through April.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review property, sales, and excise tax returns.
  • Support accounting functions related to local, state, and federal taxes.
  • Process tax compliance including filing property, sales, and excise tax returns and process payments.
  • Assist with state and local property, sales, and excise tax audits and appeals.

Qualifications:

  • At a minimum, must be working toward a B.S./B.A. in Accounting.
