Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in Times Square, NY seeks a Part-time Tailor to deliver expert alterations and an exceptional tailoring experience for all customers.

You will perform hem and repair work, handle more technical fittings, and support store leadership in servicing clients with Levi's Tailoring standards. You should have at least 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience, strong knowledge of jeans construction, and be able to operate denim sewing machines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sewing/tailoring experience with strong knowledge of jeans construction.
• Familiarity with machines used in denim sewing and tailoring processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic alteration services (hemming, patch and repair, tapering) and more technical tailoring of items beyond jeans.
• Provide a best-in-class tailoring experience and resolve customer concerns per policy.
• Educate store teams on tailoring services and Levi's Tailoring standards.
• May assist with training Tailors within district/region and follow store policies.
