Job summary

Hallmark's Halls Kansas City store at Crown Center is seeking a part-time Fitter Finisher in the Alterations department. You will perform alterations on men's and women's garments, work with special fabrics, and support the Visual Merchandising and Store Operations teams as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of quality alterations experience. Availability 16–24 hours weekly, including holidays and some weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in high-quality alterations preferred.
• Ability to work with various fabrics and techniques.
• Good math and measurement accuracy for alterations.

Responsibilities

• Performs wide variety of alterations to fit customer requests: hand and machine work, shoulder, hem, collar, and sleeve work, sizing garments, repairs defective merchandise.
• Analyzes garments to determine alterations needed and reconstructs as required; handles delicate fabrics with care.
• Checks appointments daily and ensures garments are ready at the appointed time.
• Coordinates with team to answer questions about fitting, construction, and fabric.
• Available for unscheduled fittings and extra hours as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
