We specialize in high-mix, low- to mid-volume production, blanket order management, and tight turnaround prototyping. We are an AS9100-prepared shop committed to process control, traceability, and customer-focused flexibility.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-orientedCNC Swiss Machinistwho can independentlyset up and operate Swiss-style lathes, ensuring quality and consistency in precision components. This is a hands-on, part-time position ideal for a skilled machinist who wants a flexible schedule while working on challenging parts in a professional, ERP-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style CNC machines (Star SR20 & SR38)
• Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Inspect and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools
• Make offset adjustments and tooling changes as needed
• Maintain high standards for quality, cleanliness, and documentation
• Communicate with quality and programming teams on process improvements
• Follow work instructions and document workflows via ERP system (ProShop)-We will help facilitate this
• Work collaboratively with scheduling, planning, and inspection teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience with Swiss CNC machines (Star or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability toset up machines independently
• Experience working with tight tolerances and difficult materials
• Familiarity with ERP systems (ProShop experience is a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
• Comfort with a clean, process-driven shop environment geared toward AS9100 standards

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Experience programming Swiss machinesusingMastercam or ESPRIT
• Experience optimizing toolpaths, cycle times, and setups for repeatability
• Familiarity with blanket orders and serialized part traceability
• Previous experience in a shop with aerospace or defense compliance
