Job summary

Pipestone seeks a Swine Technician for Sow Country on a part-time, onsite basis in Long Island, Kansas. You will follow farm protocols to maximize production, maintain bio-security, and complete daily paperwork while ensuring animal welfare and safety across the area.

Ideal candidates may have livestock experience; training provided through My Pipestone New Hire Courses. This role requires weekend work and reliable transportation to the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1+ years livestock experience preferred.
• Training via My Pipestone New Hire Courses including Animal Welfare and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow production protocols to maximize sow and gilt production and efficiency.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain bio-security and safety practices on site.
• Monitor ventilation and environment for animal welfare.
