Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required, 1+ years livestock experience preferred.
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to bio-security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow production protocols to maximize sow and gilt production and efficiency.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate with farm management and area employees about production and animal health.
• Maintain bio-security standards and assist in audits and safety measures.
• Monitor ventilation, environment, and animal welfare in the designated area.
• Assist with routine facility maintenance and housekeeping in gestation areas.
