Position Details:

Job Title: Swim Instructor

Reports To: Deck Supervisor

Summary: Instruct students on water safety and swimming techniques according to the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide swim instruction based on curriculum
2. Enforce safety rules, prevent accidents, and administer first aid when necessary
3. Evaluate student progress and complete paperwork promptly
4. Communicate with parents/guardians about student development
5. Identify and resolve challenges using problem-solving skills
6. Inspect pool areas for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage; report issues
7. Maintain pool equipment and manage lane lines
8. Report accidents/incidents and complete documentation
9. Attend mandatory training sessions outside of regular hours
10. Perform additional duties as assigned
