City of Blue Springs is hiring part-time swim lesson instructors to conduct group and private lessons for participants of all ages. Certification and training are provided at no cost to employees. Various shifts available and applications reviewed throughout the recruitment period.

Responsibilities include supervising facility areas, enforcing rules, reporting on sessions, and ensuring safety. Candidates should complete the required certifications before starting and be able to demonstrate

Qualifications

• Clear communication with patrons and staff required.
• Supervision of all facility areas and enforcement of rules.
• Experience in swim instruction preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of all facility areas and enforcement of policies.
• Communicate with staff about emergencies.
• Complete progress reports for every student.
• Provide a safe, clean environment and attend training sessions.
• Set class expectations and open/close the facility.
