Job summary

Active Wellness Center at NorthBay Health in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Swim Instructor for a part-time role. You’ll teach small group and private swim classes, aligned with our aquatics safety standards, and support members with positive instruction.

This position offers hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $45.00, with DOE and base rate plus piece-rate for lessons; you will attend trainings, maintain records and collaborate with the team to ensure safe, enjoyable learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Performance tests required before employment and may be re-tested.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must be detail oriented and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim strokes across levels and ages per guidelines.
• Plan lessons and evaluate student progress.
• Maintain safe, positive teaching environment.
• Record keeping and issue completion certificates.
• Assist with water quality testing and maintenance.
