Job summary

Emler Swim School is hiring swim instructors to teach life-saving water safety skills in a fun, kid-friendly environment. You’ll be part of a team recognized with top employer awards nationwide, and you’ll help children thrive both in and out of the water.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but not required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Staying active on your feet and in the pool during shifts.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years, each age group bringing new energy.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our proven swim instruction methods
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool
• Getting your steps in! This is an active, on-your-feet (and in-the-pool) role
• Teaching classes for kids of all ages, from 6 months to 12 years - every age group brings new energy!

Your Schedule:

Pay Range

USD $10.00 - USD $13.00 /Hr.
