Qualifications

• Must possess a credential in surgical technology through an NCCA-accredited program and have at least two years of experience in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology within the past five years.
• Ability to teach Surgical Technology and related courses with materials development experience.
• Criminal background check and Oregon residency requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach Surgical Technology classes using the department curriculum.
• Prepare and develop class materials aligned to course outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks: assign/grade work, communicate with students, and maintain records.
